Brand licensing can transform a product, boost
sales and build a brand!
What does 'brand licensing' mean?
Quite simply, licensing is a contractual permission to use a
brand in association with a defined product, for a defined
period of time, in a defined territory. Licensing is the process
by which a brand / property owner extends a trademark or character out of its principal environment and onto products
of a completely different nature.
Licensed products offer opportunities to create differentiation
and provide a direct line into the consumer consciousness.
Nowhere is this more evident than on the high street where
cartoon characters have become fashion statements.

In supermarkets, the cereal aisles are enlivened by licensed character promotions.
Hooke Design was commissioned to work with brand licensing agent Global Brands to design product packaging which would extend the PGA TOUR brand into the golf training aid and accessories markets. These products are currently being sold in some of the UK's largest high street retailers.
Hooke's packaging designs were so well recieved that they now form part of the PGA TOUR brand guidelines. They can be seen in our portfolio section.
